IS RECRUITING HEALTHY INDIVIDUALS
FOR A RESEARCH STUDY ON
BURN SCARS
FRAXEL LASER TREATMENTS
are included at no cost in this study
with the Fraxel® re:store Laser System.
Study consists of up to 5 laser treatment visits and 3 follow-up visits.
Subjects will receive up to $250 compensation for completing the study
requirements.
Subjects must:
Be 18 to 75 years of age (male or female)
Be a non-smoker
Have moderate to severe scars from second or third degree burns
Not be pregnant
Not be currently taking Accutane
Not have a history of compromised wound healing, malignant melanoma,
keloid scars, generalized psoriasis or systemic diseases
Not have active, localized or systemic infections
Not have a known allergy to lidocaine (numbing cream)
Not have had recently used topical steroids or retinoids in the treatment area
(in the last 6 months)

| We are conducting a research study evaluating an investigational therapy for moderate to severe acne.
We are looking for participants who are:
12 years or older with moderate to severe acne.
In good general health.
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
Subject is pregnant, lactating, or is planning to become pregnant during the study.
Subject has greater than 4 facial nodules.
Qualified participants will receive compensation for visits. Skin examinations by Kenneth Beer, M.D., & Jill Waibel, M.D., Board Certified Dermatologist.
All visits and study treatment at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel. No health insurance required. Must have moderate to severe acne to qualify, but for more information please call to schedule an appointment to see if you qualify.
