PALM BEACH PEEL

The most important reasons women come to the dermatologist office is to look better: from Botox® Cosmetic to Retin A, women want to have a more youthful appearance. In my cosmetic practice, our most popular procedures are Restylane, Botox® Cosmetic, Microdermabrasion and one of our most popular services is our skin care consultation.

During the skin care consultation, Kenneth Beer, M.D., a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, discusses how to optimize treatments that will improve the appearance of your skin. This may involve using prescription medications applied to your skin or the use of antioxidants such as green tea.

Many patients will elect to have microdermabrasion or light chemical peels to remove the dead layers of skin. Obviously, having this done in the dermatologist's office is time consuming and expensive. In order to enable more people to benefit from the skin care knowledge that Dr. Kenneth Beer has, he has created a system that can be used at home to obtain and maintain the appearance of the skin as it looks right after a refreshing light peel.

The system uses green tea anti-oxidants in a mild cleanser and moisturizer. In addition, the self heating home peel packets enable you to gently exfoliate twice a week and allow the green tea to penetrate the outer layers of skin more easily.

These products can also be found online at Idealskin.com.
